Boutique to Butlins - Napier 12th - 15th Oct

Problem with the Toyota Aurian we picked up in Wellington as had big chunk missing from tyre, so exchanged for a giant banana, otherwise known as a Holden commodore, for the 5 hour journey up to Napier. Think of it as driving a large high visibility vest. Napier was hit by an earthquake in 1931 and rebuilt in the architectural style of the the time. Therefore lots of Art Deco buildings to view in the centre. There is even an art deco bus! The sun is shining and we are looking forward to touring the buildings.
I think our accommodation was built later in the style of a butlin's chalet. Our trip has taken a comedy turn for the moment but personally I am hoping the luxury returns soon. Hi-di-hi campers!
